We probably don’t need much of an introduction for Pegau. If you’ve shopped with us over the past 30 years, you know Châteauneuf-du-Pape from Pegau has been a cornerstone of our Rhône selection. The ever-charming Laurence Féraud crafts traditionally styled wines from 19 hectares of vineyards spread across various terroirs throughout the appellation.

What I love about Pegau is its versatility — it’s just as enjoyable young as it is with age. I’ve found this to be true time and again, having been fortunate enough to taste nearly every vintage since 1988. Every time I open a bottle, the aromas instantly transport me to the South of France — garrigue, lavender, framboise, and more.

In addition to the newly released 2022 vintage, I was also able to secure a beautiful Domaine-direct parcel of the 2020, which is drinking incredibly well right now. If you love Southern Rhône wines, this offer is a no-brainer. Stock up while you can — I don’t expect to be able to replace these without raising prices.
