The 1996 Chateau Margaux, a blend of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc, must be a strong contender for wine of the vintage. It offers everything you desire from this First Growth. It is blessed with breathtaking del...

750ml | SKU 101322 | 29 Available
94-96 VM

Representing 46% of the total crop (a little higher than recent years due to higher yields in the best Cabernet blocks), the 2024 Château Margaux contains slightly less Merlot (5%). It has a sophisticated bouquet in the context of the growing season, with...

2000 Chateau Margaux - Margaux (750ml)

750ml | SKU 101319 | Available
100 WA

Absolutely compelling in two tastings of this vintage, the 2000 Margaux is composed of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot. The extraordinary seductiveness, complex aromatics, and purity it exhibits lead me to believe it has reached its window of full m...

2021 Chateau Massiac Minervois (750ml)

750ml | SKU 100629 | 34 Available

This is the most important wine of the estate, a serious red vinified to reflect its capacity to age. The grapes are harvested at a point of slight “surmaturité” which captures the profound scents and flavors of the surrounding hillside “garrigue”. The cuvaison continues for at least a month; then, the wine is racked into tank for aging. The wine is bottled twenty to twenty-four months after harvest. As the wine ages in bottle, it develops enticing notes of juniper, rosemary and thyme as well as the savory flavors of wild berries and a hint of the “animal” … all in all, one of the more compelling values in our portfolio.

2023 Chateau Mauvesin Barton - Moulis-en-Medoc (Bordeaux Future ETA 2026)

750ml | SKU 97995 | 17 Available
92 JA

Inky ruby colour, another vintage that underlines how impressively Mauvesin Barton has been doing over the past few years. Delivers brambled blackberry fruit and balanced but clear toasted spices, austere on the finish, this heads towards closing in, but ...

2022 Chateau Mauvesin Barton - Moulis-en-Medoc (750ml)

750ml | SKU 94793 | Available
91 VM

The 2022 Mauvesin Barton has a tightly wound bouquet that needed a bit of coaxing, eventually offering finely delineated blackberry, cedar and light briny scents. The palate is saline and quite classic in style, with powdery tannins. This tapers slight...

2003 Chateau Monbousquet - St. Emilion (750ml)

750ml | SKU 100677 | 11 Available

This was an amazing performance for Monbousquet. The 2003 exhibits plenty of fat and succulence along with a full-bodied, sexy mouthfeel, and lots of black cherry and black currant fruit intermixed with licorice, baking spices and roasted herbs. Fully mat...

2021 Chateau Montrose - St. Estephe 750ml

750ml | SKU 91244 | 22 Available

The remarkable 2021 Montrose gets my nomination for the title of "wine of the vintage" in the Médoc. Wafting from the glass with a deep bouquet of cassis and dark berries mingled with subtle hints of mint, orange, pencil shavings and spices, it's medium t...
