2022 Gramenon - Cotes du Rhone La Sagesse

750ml | SKU 98672 | Available

Three terroirs make up this cuvée you would be sage to decant, or hold up to ten years in a cool place. A sandy parcel brings lively floral aromatics and elegant fruit, clay contributes depth and fleshiness, and a third plot on rocky limestone makes its presence felt on the tightly wound, almost salty finish. A masterpiece of old-vine Grenache.

The 2023 Châteauneuf du Pape Le Miocene Blanc is mostly Clairette but includes 40% Roussanne. Its vivid gold hue is followed by a beautiful perfume of stone fruits, grilled peach, minty flowers, and some spicy nuances. It's balanced and medium to full-bod...

Powerful and concentrated, featuring blackberry, plum, fruitcake and iron flavors. Exuberant and resonant on the long, iron- and spice-tinged finish. Think salumi and cheeses.

2019 Grasso, Elio - Barolo Gavarini Chiniera

750ml | SKU 96839 | 10 Available
97 WA

With vines adjacent to forests on white chalky soils, the Elio Grasso 2019 Barolo Gavarini Chiniera is a luminous and very beautiful wine. Vintner Gianluca Grasso called this "the helicopter vintage" because he actually rented a helicopter to fly over the...

NV Grasso, Fratelli - Langhe DOC Rosso Trej

750ml | SKU 95015 | 12 Available

TREJ is Barbera, Nebbiolo and Dolcetto in equal parts.

The brothers Luigi and Alfredo Grasso started in the vineyard in 1970 and continue to actively cultivate 14 hectares. The Grasso Fratelli farm is located in Valgrande in the municipality of Treiso, in the heart of the Langhe, a typical area known for the cultivation of the vines from which the best and prestigious Piedmontese wines are born. In this area, nowadays very popular also for its splendid nature, the Nebbiolo grape variety from which Barbaresco wine originates is cultivated with particular care.

750ml | SKU 96275 | Available
95 VM

Grattamacco's 2020 Bolgheri Superiore L’Alberello is impressive. Crushed red berry fruit, white pepper, mint, flowers, spice and blood orange all race across the palate, with notable freshness and vibrancy. This deceptively mid-weight Maremma red is be...

2020 Guido Porro - Barolo DOCG Vigna Lazzairasco (750ml)

750ml | SKU 100984 | Available

This is one of the most charming young Baroli I’ve enjoyed from Guido Porro in recent years. Incredibly succulent, with generous acidity and beautifully integrated tannins, the 2020 Vigna Lazzairasco is already an approachably grand rosso. Don’t hesitate to pop the cork today and pour it alongside a nice sage and butternut squash risotto or roast quail.

2018 Guigal - Hermitage Ex Voto Rouge

750ml | SKU 89799 | Available
98 JD

Last of the 2018s, the 2018 Hermitage Ex Voto shows a riper, more sunny profile and has a killer nose of ripe blackberries, cassis, spice, game, woodsmoke, and bacon fat. The tannins from Hermitage always have a different feel from the Côte Rôtie releases...

2019 Guigal - Cote Rotie La Mouline

750ml | SKU 93810 | 14 Available
97-100 JD

The 2019 Côte Rôtie La Mouline is a bigger, richer Côte Rôtie. Co-fermented with a solid chuck of Viognier and around 85% destemmed (the same as the La Turque), this full-bodied effort has a kaleidoscope-like bouquet of bloody black and blue fruits, tapen...
