2019 Giacosa Fratelli - Barolo (750ml)
Combining the family's various Barolo sites, with Bricco San Pietro (Monforte) the largest component. This Barolo DOCG reflects the family's signature style with fragrant aromas of rose petals, leather and tar. Matured in large wooden casks for two years and one year in the bottle, it's a wine well suited to aging.
2023 Giovanni Almondo - Langhe Nebbiolo DOC (750ml)
Its denomination is Langhe Nebbiolo, its spirit is that of Roero Nebbiolo.
It was born of our youngest Nebbiolo vines, 20 years of age. It takes inspiration from the traditional Roero Nebbiolino, the most authentic and honest expression of the Nebbiolo grown from the sands of Roero, the one that old people recognized as the true Roero Nebbiolo. This is a light-hearted and graceful wine. On the nose, you immediately understand the difference compared to structured and intense Nebbiolo wines, with its gentle fruity and floral fragrance, a slightly spicy finish as well as overtones of raspberries, blackberries, currants, violets and wild roses.
On the palate, it is dry, harmonious, velvety, with touches of freshness and the right amount of tannin. Within the traditional culture of Roero, this was an all-round wine and this great versatility does show.

2021 Grasso, Elio - Barbera d'Alba Vigna Martina
Powerful and concentrated, featuring blackberry, plum, fruitcake and iron flavors. Exuberant and resonant on the long, iron- and spice-tinged finish. Think salumi and cheeses.
2019 Grasso, Elio - Barolo Gavarini Chiniera
With vines adjacent to forests on white chalky soils, the Elio Grasso 2019 Barolo Gavarini Chiniera is a luminous and very beautiful wine. Vintner Gianluca Grasso called this "the helicopter vintage" because he actually rented a helicopter to fly over the...

2020 Guido Porro - Barolo DOCG Vigna Lazzairasco (750ml)
This is one of the most charming young Baroli I’ve enjoyed from Guido Porro in recent years. Incredibly succulent, with generous acidity and beautifully integrated tannins, the 2020 Vigna Lazzairasco is already an approachably grand rosso. Don’t hesitate to pop the cork today and pour it alongside a nice sage and butternut squash risotto or roast quail.
