2020 Guido Porro - Barolo DOCG Vigna Lazzairasco (750ml)
This is one of the most charming young Baroli I’ve enjoyed from Guido Porro in recent years. Incredibly succulent, with generous acidity and beautifully integrated tannins, the 2020 Vigna Lazzairasco is already an approachably grand rosso. Don’t hesitate to pop the cork today and pour it alongside a nice sage and butternut squash risotto or roast quail.

2015 La Spinona - Barolo Sori Gepin
The 2015 Barolo Sori' Gepin needs quite a bit of air to open, but it is so expressive as that starts to happen. Dried flowers, cedar, tobacco and autumn leaves are laced together in a mid-weight, savory Barolo loaded with character. The 2015 remains ne...
2020 La Spinona - Barbaresco Bricco Faset (750ml)
The 2020 Barbaresco Bricco Fasèt is laced with dark cherry, plum, spice, leather, dried herbs, menthol, lavender and graphite, giving the 2020 a feeling of somber intensity. Deceptive in its mid-weight structure, the 2020 is a young, tannic wine that w...
2019 La Spinona - Barbaresco Secondine (750ml)
The 2019 Barbaresco Secondine is one of the most refined wines I have tasted here. Silky and aromatic, yet also quite deep, the 2019 has much to recommend it. Crushed flowers, sweet red berry fruit, blood orange, mint and cinnamon lend notable aromatic...
2015 Marcarini - Barolo Brunate
2018 Marchesi di Gresy - Barbaresco Martinenga
Though firm, there is an elegance to this red, whose flavor profile ranges from strawberry and cherry to tobacco and tea. Taut and linear, with fine balance and a long, red fruit, stone and savory aftertaste. Best from 2025 through 2042. 2,380 cases made,...
