NV Bugey Cerdon La Cueille Bottex

750ml | SKU 44949 | 35 Available

In an increasingly complex and ever-changing wine world, I have a soft spot for those who just keep things steady and simple. The Bottex family is literally the only vigneron family I know who make one single wine, have always made only one single wine, have no plans to expand, and make their one single wine ridiculously, deliciously well. No changes to the label nor to what’s inside the bottle, in at least the few decades I’ve been drinking it. No need to chase any fads when you’ve got something impeccable you can be proud of. This is a universally loved pink bubbly delight of candied strawberries and roses, always true and always exquisite. Icing on the cake is that it’s affordable, too.

2023 Paul Hobbs - Chardonnay Sonoma Coast CrossBarn

750ml | SKU 99547 | 36 Available
92 JD

Bright yellow/green-hued, the 2023 Chardonnay Sonoma Coast is bottled under screwcap and is lifted and fresh with lime, white flowers, green apples, and lemon zest. It’s fantastic on the palate, with ripe acidity, a silky, stony texture, elegant ripeness,...

2021 Paul Hobbs - Cabernet Sauvignon Coombsville

750ml | SKU 99555 | 35 Available

Excellent complexity of blackcurrant, lead pencil and oyster. Some redwood and bark. Full to medium body with wonderfully crafted tannins that run the length of the wine with so much subtle and complex character of graphite and fruit. Structured and class...

2022 Paul Hobbs Chardonnay Russian River Valley

750ml | SKU 99557 | 45 Available
94 JS

The fruit in this is very beautiful, with sliced apples, cream and hints of stone. Full-bodied with plenty of fruit and a creamy texture that shows tension and intensity. Just the right amount of oak to highlight this.

2022 Pavillon du Chavannes - Cote de Brouilly Cuvee Ambassades

750ml | SKU 97718 | 19 Available

This is a very old school Beaujolais in the best sense: beautiful garnet color, beguiling aromatics, and a burst of refreshment in the mouth—and that burst is a savory, mineral, toothsome thing because of the domaine’s high elevations and because of Brouilly’s meager volcanic soils. Some crus emphasize soil notes, others give fruit, but only good Côte de Brouilly gives stone in the flavor

2020 Pegau - Chateauneuf du Pape Reserve PRE ARRIVAL (750ml)

750ml | SKU 93110 | 120 Available
96-98 WA

I was even more impressed by the 2020 Châteauneuf du Pape Cuvée Réservée than the 2019. Boasting crazily complex floral scents, garrigue, raspberries and cherries, this is one incredibly perfumed example of Pegau. Medium to full-bodied, silky, elegant and...

Still in tank last summer, the 2022 Cotes du Rhone Cuvee Maclura boasts charming layers of blueberries, raspberries and black cherries. A blend of approximately 60% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 10% each Cinsault and Mourvèdre, it's full-bodied and nicely conce...

2023 Pegau - Cotes du Rhone BLANC Lone

750ml | SKU 99086 | 40 Available

Château Pegau is owned and managed by the iconic winemaker, Laurence Féraud. Located in exceptional terroir, situated less than 4 miles southeast of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Cuvée Lône is named after the small stream that runs next to the 100+ acre estate and is an offshoot of the Rhône River. A classic Côtes du Rhône white that is a reflection of spring in the Rhône Valley.

Tasting Notes: Offers aromas of acacia, nectarines and pears on the nose, with a touch of exotic fruit. Bright and well-balanced on the palate, with a long finish.

Serve With: Enjoy as an aperitif or with a wide range of fish and shellfish.
